It’s been a Christmas treat to witness the seething. Indians and their co-racialists from the subcontinent: Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, and Sri Lankans—let’s just call them subs as a group for clarity’s sake—have been melting down for days over X’s firm reaction against H1B migration.
The holiday hysteria proves two things:
Many of these subs may hold US passports, but they are not Americans. They disrespect our traditions and drip with racial resentment towards the white American men whose ancestors founded this nation. Let’s be clear there is only one group indisputably tied to these United States: white men, defined by their British ancestry, English liberalism, and common law traditions. Everyone else was welcomed in. They did not inherit it. Their family’s did not build it.
