lol guys “trunk or treat” has been big for like 25 years and people still go all out on the decorations. They’re usually just big parties and the adults don’t have to worry about their kids getting hit by cars.

Dudley's take on the Halloween decorations is correct. My friend told me that adults in his family's neighborhood hand out beer to the parents as they walk with their kids trick or treating. Everything is getting trashier. Prole drift on display.

Love Dudley, but holidays are definitely not just for kids. They have that component, but that have much more important societal and primal importance for adults as way points, community alignments, culture carriers, and then specific uses for each holiday (renewal, inversion, communion, exultation, etc.). This is why it’s so important for a society to have shared traditions and holidays. That said, some of the Halloween stuff is truly disneyfied as mention, but it’s not the gore and actually scary stuff…honestly that is closer to the point than candy collection and fandom costumes

You don’t have to believe in demons to believe in community. This would frighten the living wits out of little kids in a way that is deeply hostile to children, it is not clever or charming or cute. This homeowner is an utter shit and no one should have to put up with his crap.

100% chance it is a man btw

Dissident Right fading out? What can one expect when NOTHING ever changes? We are tired of fighting in a war when the leaders are all on the same side.

I really & sincerely wish that you & Dudley did a regular show together. The conversation between you guys is why I subscribed to you, Isaac.

Not that you want my advice, but once a week would be fine.
