Very much enjoyed this review. The strength of Baltic's book, in my opinion, is his authorial restraint and careful avoidance of didacticism. This is no easy feat in a story about contemporary ideological forces and the internal pressure of any work in this category will always trend toward some form of hackneyed preaching (in one political direction or another).
